DON'T CALL ME INSANE

I was like going crazy. When I pick up the broom supposed to clean the bathroom, I have the urge to do something.

I gave the dustbin a little push and then another and another. Soon I was bashing the dustbin again and again and again.

When I finally stop, the poor little dustbin has becomes bits of pieces of plastic.

My terrified other half was searching for the right keys to open the bathroom door. I swung open the door and walk right out face red and hand trembling.

The feeling of satisfaction was great but of course not at the expense of the little dustbin.

After a glass of water, I was questioning myself why I've lose my cool?

Yeah..over a very dissatisfied conversation with the man I've lived with for 14 years. It was more like a one way ticket talking to him. To him that is fine but to me it is non-communication. He keeps his feeling more to himself while I am full of emotion.

We still have our own point of view over this matter but promised to improved ourselves to the best as can be.

But of course, Mr Cool guy is back to his normal self after 2 days. As for me, the storm is over and the sky is clear for the moment...

MOM'S 85TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED ON 10.10.2010

Mom celebrated her 85th birthday on 10.10.2010 with all her children, grandchildren & greatgrandchildren.

The gathering of everybody makes her very happy.

Time passes very fast. She has been surviving cancer for 4 years now. So far, she's cancer free after her treatment.

But the side effect of the radiotherapy really weakens her. She has to be admitted to the hospital every 1 month or so for blood transfusion.

Knowing that she's very tired of everything now, we feel helpless as there's nothing more we can to for fer now.

She's always showing a happy face to everybody but deep down inside I don't know whether she's really happy. Eventhough she's not, she would'nt wants to worries her children.

Mom, I know you are not reading this but I would like to wish you a happy birthday and I hope that you would'nt suffer anymore.

I love you.

FRIENDSHIP

Today i've received a bad news from my friend. One of my former classmate just passed away on the 18th September 2010 due to breast cancer.

I cried when i heard that she has 5 children and the youngest being only 7years old.

Although i have not seen her since school day's over, i can still remember her very well.

Her name is Ng Moi Len. She's wearing black rim spectacle and she's slim & tall with baby doll hair. Eventhough she's chinese educated, we get on very well. She's also the one that i confide to about my first puppy love... I remember she's also in the school basketball team.

I was thinking all night about her. Why god takes away people who still has unfinished things to do in this world? She has to raise & educate her children. They still needs her. What about her husband?

Cancer does not discrimate. So nothing is fair.

Moi Len, you will always be remembered. This is for you.....

It sounds so fun, driving around in the sun..
You are so innocent, carefree & sweet..
You had the world at your feet..
Who would have known you would die..
Leaving everyone you touch to grieve and to cry..
Into the car you go so fast..
It all came up too fast for sight..
But you didn't give up without a fight..

TOP FIVE CANCER CAUSING FOODS

Here are the five worst offenders:
  • Hot dogs: The Cancer Prevention Coalition recommends that children should not eat more than 12 hot dogs per month because of the risk of cancer. If you must have your hot dog fix, look for those without sodium nitrite listed among the ingredients.

  • Processed meats and bacon: These meats almost always contain the same sodium nitrite found in hot dogs. You can find some without nitrites, but you'll have to look for them in natural grocers or health food stores. Bacon is also high in saturated fat, which contributes to the risk of cancers, including breast cancer. Limiting your consumption of processed meats and saturated fats also benefits the heart.

  • Doughnuts: Doughnuts contain hydrogenated oils, white flour, sugar, and acrylamides. Essentially, they're one of the worst cancer foods you can possibly eat. Reader's Digest calls doughnuts "disastrous" as a breakfast food, and many experts agree it's probably one of the worst ways to start the day.

  • French fries: Fries are made with hydrogenated oil and fried at high temperatures. Some chains even add sugar to their fry recipe to make them even more irresistible. Not only do they clog your arteries with saturated fat and trans fat, they also contain acrylamides. They should be called "cancer fries," not French fries.
  • Chips / crackers / cookies: These generally contain white flour and sugar as well as trans fats, but it's not enough to simply look for these ingredients on the label; you have to actually "decode" the ingredients list that food manufacturers use to deceive consumers. They do this by hiding ingredients (such as hiding MSG in yeast extract, or by fiddling with serving sizes so they can claim the food is trans fat free, even when it contains trans fats (the new Girl Scout cookies use this trick).
These may be some of our everyday favourite food. So it's time to change our eating habits and our lifestyle. Eat more natural food and get more exercise. Never says I'm too busy. Make time for yourself for the sake of your family......

WOMB CANCER

Womb cancer, also called uterine cancer, develops in the lining or the wall of your womb. It's caused by an abnormal and uncontrolled growth of cells. It can be malignant or benign.

Malignant tumours are cancerous. They spread to other parts of your body and invade surrounding tissue. A malignant tumour can grow through your womb and spread to other parts of your body through your bloodstream or lymph system. This spread of cancer is called metastasis.

Benign tumours aren't cancerous. They don't spread to other parts of the body and don't invade surrounding tissue.

Symptoms of womb cancer

The most common symptom of womb cancer is bleeding from the vagina, particularly in older women who have been through the menopause. If you haven't yet been through the menopause, you may find that you have unusually heavy bleeding during your period or bleeding between periods.

There are a number of other symptoms that might be caused by cancer of the womb. These include:

  • discharge from your vagina
  • pain in your lower abdomen (tummy), back or legs
  • pain or discomfort during sex

These symptoms may be caused by problems other than womb cancer. If you have any of these symptoms, visit your GP for advice.

MOM IN HOSPITAL AGAIN

Mom celebrated mother's day in the hospital. After 6 months of non-hospital stay, she's in again. This time she needs 5 pints of blood.
She became anaemic 3 year ago due to radiotherapy treatment for womb cancer. It was a painful journey for all of us especially mom at the age of 85 years old. At her age, her body couldn't
take the treatment. It weakens her and she became depressed. We are all walking through this painful journey with her all the way.
I hope that she don't need another blood transfusion for another 6 months, which is consider very good.....

JALAN SILANG BEEF BALL NOODLE

Jalan Silang beef ball noodles is one of the best in town. I was craving for it for a long time. They are open from Monday to Saturday only and going to that part of town on this days is crazy. But my craving got the best of me, so I've decided to brave the crazy traffic for that hot bowl of beef ball noodle. The noodle is soft and chewy and the beef ball is springy. And it's a must to eat it with their famous chili sauce. The best thing is that the soup is piping hot. After a satisfying meal, I brave myself thru the mad traffic and reach home feeling yummy & happy.....
