Why would a human be expected to be obedient?

I thought this term applies only to pets.

I do not expect my husband or daughter to be obedient. Imagine telling them to "Come"' "Sit", "Stay" and "Down" would be so hilarious.

Neither do my husband expect me to be obedient. He married me for my independent, rebellious and stubborn bull-headed self.

I would cry bucket if I am expected to behave like a tamed animal.

There will be no human talk from your man, a grunt will be sufficient if he wants his meal on the table.

Or on the more humorous scenario, when it is the end of daylight, he would summon for his wench to move her butt and serve him like a king in his chamber.

This is a definite doom and gloom relationship. How backward can one be?

Discipline and moral values should be the order of the day in a normal relationship, common sense applied, excuse me, I am no expert but just your everyday normal human STAY-AT-HOME mom.

So how can a group of practical and intelligent women would want to set up a (OWC) club? It means Obedient Wives Club, not Old Wives Club if you are clueless about it.

It flabbergasts me to see how shallow and ignorant people can get. Nothing is worse than active absurdity and stupidity.
